Great place to stay in Buxton, it's nothing fancy but the rooms are clean and look to be newly remodeled. The pool was nice and it's got beach access pretty close to the motel. The prices are reasonable too. I would definitely stay again and would recommend it too.

We had a very comfortable stay in Hatteress inn. Nice location ( very near to beach), really pleasant and clean rooms with cozy beds. Helpful & generous staff. Reception was helpful in directing us to nice restaurants.

We traveled to the Outer Banks in Jan. We had the pleasure of staying in this Inn. We went during off season to see the lighthouse. I recommend everyone going during off season. It's like you have the whole OBX to yourself. This Inn was amazing! Very clean and they have just about every amenity you could think of.

Highly recommend this Inn. They are upgrading their rooms as some details may be dated but they put in outstanding mattresses, pillows and bedding that you'd expect in a 5 star Motel. We were impressed. Very clean, accommodating and friendly staff.
